Schedule

Shift: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 40 hours per week, 4x10 hours shifts. No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, identifying patient needs, and developing individualized plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages care of patients.
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
• Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports innovation in care delivery.
• Provides patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent critical care and PACU experience required.
• Strong background in telemetry; must be telemetry certified.
• Education: ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS - AHA, NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, ACLS - AHA, PALS, Telemetry.
