Job Description

Join our team as a Telemetry Nurse on a 24-bed telemetry unit equipped to take 8 step-down patients. This position involves working in large rooms with private bathrooms and showers, allowing for a comfortable environment for both staff and patients.

Responsibilities

Pushing, pulling, and lifting as necessary to provide patient care
Medication administration and assessments
Developing and implementing care plans
Maintaining a 7:1 nurse to patient ratio during night shifts
Effective communication and teamwork within the unit

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active State License Verification
MMR and Hepatitis B vaccinations
Influenza vaccine and TB test
Driver's License/State ID
Completion of Arnot skills checklist and core competency exam
Fit Test for personnel working in healthcare settings
Varicella and Tdap vaccinations
Physical/health statement documentation
Successful completion of agency background and drug screening
