Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide direct patient care services with a specific emphasis on pulmonary function testing and the initiation of CPAP devices. The role includes supporting requests for the continued supply of durable medical equipment such as oxygen concentrators and nebulizers, assisting in training on the use of inhalers, and setting up patients with DME equipment while collaborating closely with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pulmonary function tests and manage CPAP device initiation.
• Support patient requests for durable medical equipment.
• Assist in training on inhaler usage.
• Set up patients with medical equipment (DME).
• Collaborate with physicians for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• New Jersey Respiratory Therapist license (RCP).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital or physician office experience.
• Computer literacy.
