Schedule

Day shift: 4x10 hours, Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 06:30 PM. On call one week per month and one weekend per month from Friday 6:30 PM through Monday 8 AM.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will perform various special and scrub procedures, utilizing advanced imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, Philips, Siemens, and ultrasound. The position requires a focus on patient care and a thorough understanding of interventional radiology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including accessing/managing ports, catheter exchanges, and embolizations.
• Maintain sterile environments and assist in various surgical preparations and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and social services for optimal patient outcomes.
• Use advanced imaging techniques and equipment to ensure precise and safe procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology and special procedures.
• Valid New Jersey License (must obtain prior to start).
• BS degree required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with fluoroscopy and ultrasound required; first-time travelers accepted.
