Description

Radiologic Technologist - General X-Ray

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Daytime hours with a schedule of 4 ten-hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be a key member of the Radiology department performing various imaging studies including OR, fluoroscopy, diagnostic imaging, ED patients, and mobile x-rays. With an average of 85 scans/studies per day, this role supports a busy healthcare environment and collaborates with a seasoned team, including in-house Pediatric Radiologists.

Responsibilities

Perform general x-ray imaging, fluoroscopy, and mobile x-ray studies.
Work collaboratively with other staff, including Registered Radiology Assistants and Lead Technologist.
Utilize provided equipment effectively, including Canon Ultimax fluoro unit, GE C-arms, and Dell x-ray rooms.
Ensure quality patient care in a fast-paced, acute care setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current BLS certification (AHA).
Registered Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R).
Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.
