This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12 hours from 07:00 to 19:30. Every other weekend required. No on-call duties.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist with expertise in Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) to provide exceptional care in a hospital setting. Candidates must be well-versed in Nitric Oxide therapy and possess experience with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV), and various ventilator types including SERVO 1, Servo U, and PB 980.

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
Monitor and assess patient conditions in both PICU and NICU environments.
Utilize advanced ventilatory support technologies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

2+ years of experience in a hospital setting.
Must have NJ license; CRT or RRT is acceptable.
BLS certification required; NRP preferred.
Experience in PICU and NICU preferred.
First-time travelers accepted; travel pairs not accepted.
