This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts from 07:00 to 15:30 and mid shifts from 15:00 to 23:30. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care to adults within a psychiatric setting. The RN may be required to serve as the charge RN during shifts, although there will not be an additional pay bump for these responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patient health status and needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a behavioral health setting is required.
Current BCLS certification.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland is mandatory.
