Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The registered nurse will provide care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, managing complex medical needs and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and conditions.
Assist in the management of life support systems and ventilators.
Participate in emergency response teams and code situations.
Educate patients and families on care plans and treatments.
Conduct patient assessments and documentation using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
New York State RN license required in hand to submit.
