Job Description

Functioning within the Health System's mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his/her shift. The RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries. Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of OB Experience (Required)
• Must have completed 1 Travel Assignment (Required)
• Must be able to function as a 1st assist and Scrub OB (Preferred)
• BLS (AHA) - (Required)
• ACLS (AHA) Certification - (Required)
• NRP Certification - (Required)
• STABLE Certification - (Required)
• Fetal Monitoring Certification - (Required)
