Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Trauma, Multi-Specialty)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three nights per week, including weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Operating Room. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment that includes Level-1 Adult Trauma and Pediatric Level-2 trauma cases. The position requires scrubbing and circulating across a broad range of specialties including Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, and Vascular surgery.

Responsibilities

Provide care for trauma patients in a multi-specialty operating room environment.
Scrub and circulate for various surgical specialties, including but not limited to General Surgery, Urology, GYN surgery, Robotic surgeries, Plastics, Pediatric surgeries, Orthopedics, and Thoracic surgery.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, with trauma experience preferred.
Previous travel nursing experience is required.
BLS certification.
New York State RN Licensure.
