Schedule

4x10-Hour Day Shift (07:00 - 19:30) with a minimum of 1 weekend a month.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Services Nurse with a strong background in surgical procedures and patient care. This position requires the ability to handle a variety of surgical cases and maintain high standards of care.

Responsibilities

Manage and assist in surgical procedures.
Monitor and assess patient conditions pre- and post-operation.
Ensure patient safety and implement infection control protocols.
Administer medical treatments and medication as needed.
Collaborate with surgical teams and provide support during operations.
Participate in patient education and advocacy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of Charge Nurse experience.
Preferred experience in Community Hospitals and Trauma Level I & II.
Certification in BLS and CNOR required.
Experience with Epic charting system.
Must have an active MD or Compact License at the time of submission.
References from recent employers: 1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN.
