This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend and holiday are required. There may be floating to other departments.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in our dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves managing patients with a variety of medical emergencies and requires strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care in the emergency department.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Manage patient flow and triage incoming patients efficiently.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency care setting.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and PALS.
Familiarity with charting systems, preferably Epic.
Active Maryland or Compact Nursing License.
