3x12 hour days with the option of 36 or 48 hours. Every other weekend and holidays required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care while floating as necessary within the specialty and adjacent units. The role includes managing patients with various medical conditions, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and actively participating in team processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Oversee patient care, monitoring vital signs and symptoms.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to sister units and lower acuity areas as required.
• Participate in training and orientation of new staff and travelers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in charge roles preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system is required.
• Active MD or Compact nursing license at time of submission.
