Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our respiratory care team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care to our patients, primarily focusing on geriatric, adult, and occasionally pediatric and neonatal populations. Responsibilities include performing various respiratory therapy procedures to alleviate respiratory distress and managing ventilator support.

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and assist in emergency situations.
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatments as necessary.
Document care provided and patient responses in the electronic health record (EHR).
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification is required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
Previous NICU experience is required.
Ability to work independently at night.
