Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in cardiac care for a progressive care unit. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions and those recovering from procedures such as cardioversions and cardiac catheterization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a flexible attitude, working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, particularly those in cardiac care.
• Administer medications and treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with step-down/ICU experience preferred.
