Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in telemetry and will be responsible for providing care to patients of all ages, particularly those undergoing post-operative procedures and orthopedic surgeries. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, as you may be required to work weekends and holidays to ensure appropriate nursing coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, and implement care plans effectively.
• Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment in patient care situations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to all safety and health protocols, including participation in drug screening as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in Virginia.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required prior to start.
• Experience in a medical/surgical telemetry position is preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience is desirable.
