Job Description

Join a 250-bed academic community hospital known for its commitment to making communities healthier. This facility offers a variety of services including comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour emergency department services, and specialized care in areas such as cardiac rehabilitation and advanced wound healing. The medical surgical unit accommodates a diverse patient population across all ages and is staffed with a professional nursing team dedicated to quality care.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in the medical surgical unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document health status.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
Assist with procedures and educate patients regarding their conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.
BLS certification required.
1+ years of experience in a medical surgical setting preferred; 2+ years is desirable.
