Tuesday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM (Four 10-hour shifts. No on-call responsibility).

Job Description

Under the direction of the Medical Director and/or Section Head, the Clinical Specialist, the Manager, and the Radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. The MRI Technologist creates diagnostic images while ensuring a safe and positive experience for patients.

Responsibilities

Utilize MRI technology to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
Support teaching and continued learning as the technology evolves.
Perform MRI exams on outpatients, inpatients (both stable and those in intensive care), and research patients.
Conduct specialized MRI-guided procedures when necessary.
