Schedule

Work full time 40 hours for the first 2 weeks before beginning a solo weekend shift starting 9/6-7. Flexibility to work day and/or evening shifts may be required for orientation Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm.

Job Description

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred. The candidate must efficiently operate MRI machines, ensure patient comfort, and collaborate with physicians to guarantee timely receipt of results. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Document all procedures while ensuring patient confidentiality
• Perform patient care tasks as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is mandatory
• Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization is preferred; must be willing to obtain if not already certified
