Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care with compassion, skillfully manage a variety of patient diagnoses, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and triage patients according to their needs.
• Initiate and administer treatment plans, including medication and wound care.
• Assist with the insertion and management of various lines such as central lines and IVs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EHR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of critical care or emergency room experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
• Experience with EHR systems, specifically Meditech, is a plus.
• Ability to start peripheral IVs, insert Foley catheters, and manage NG/OG tubes.
