Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide care for patients dealing with various mental health issues, including bipolar disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorders, and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in a locked inpatient behavioral health unit.
Conduct assessments, create care plans, and administer medications as prescribed.
Utilize crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as necessary.
Document patient care in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health.
BLS certification is required.
Active New Jersey or Compact nursing license required.
Documented experience with the Epic charting system is necessary.
Must complete ITTC training within 14 days of the start date.
