This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4 days per week from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with additional weekday call shifts and weekend call every 5 weeks. Flexibility with the schedule is required.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced surgical environment specializing in cardiovascular and open heart procedures. Nurses are expected to scrub and circulate during surgeries, and may float to other surgical suites as needed.

Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate in cardiovascular and open heart surgeries.
Respond to patient care needs during surgical procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Be flexible to float to other operating room suites when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of recent OR RN experience with high competency in Cardio Vascular / Open Heart OR.
BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required.
Experience in large, academic, teaching hospital settings is required.
