Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients in a tele/cardiac unit. The RN is responsible for monitoring patients, interpreting and documenting cardiac rhythms, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
Interpret and measure cardiac rhythms regularly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Work effectively within a team and communicate with physicians and other healthcare staff.
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the care process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE
3 years of nursing experience, specifically in Cardiac/Tele or Med-Tele units.
ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA).
Neuro/stroke experience is highly preferred.
Current New York state nursing license required.
Candidates must have their own vehicle and must be reliable.
