Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN will collaborate with patients, their family members, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. The RN will also direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the established standards of nursing practice, administrative, and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and modifications to care plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Direct nursing support staff in providing effective patient care.
• Adhere to all established nursing standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the area of clinical specialty preferred.
• Licensure: PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification required.

Schedule

This position offers a 12-hour AM shift schedule.
