Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30). Requiring 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks, with call starting at the end of the shift on Friday at 07:00 until Monday.

Job Description

The position requires a Registered Nurse with neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics experience to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be reviewed for clinical fit by the clinical team before being presented to the manager for final decision. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team and caring for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including potential COVID patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients in the neurosurgery unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide interdisciplinary care.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during their hospital stay.
• Respond to emergencies and provide necessary interventions.
• Participate in patient assessments, planning, and evaluation of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of neuro experience required.
• EPIC experience is heavily preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Charge experience is preferred.
• Must hold a valid RN license without any hits.
• Traveler experience is required; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
