This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift - 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CICU/CVICU Registered Nurse for a night shift role. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in CVICU and will be required to float within the specialty as needed.

Responsibilities

Manage care for critically ill patients in a CICU/CVICU setting.
Perform bedside central and arterial line insertions, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, and targeted temperature management.
Provide care for patients on ECMO, VAD, and IABP, as well as manage ventilated patients and cardiac drips.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
Current BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications; CCRN preferred.
At least 2 years of CVICU experience preferred.
Strong skills in managing patients with critical cardiac conditions.
