Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays. Block scheduling may be accommodated based on unit needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Nurse for our 32-bed Telemetry Unit. The nurse will manage patients with cardiopulmonary diagnoses, including CHF, chest pain, and post-cardiac catheterization. This role requires both critical care and telemetry experience, along with the ability to titrate drips.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry as well as vital signs, responding promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Titrate IV drips including Nitro, Amiodarone, Lasix, Heparin, and Dopamine.
• Provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Will be expected to float to Med-Surg units or the Emergency Department as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory.
• Must have Med-Surg and Telemetry experience, critical drips experience is required; chemo experience preferred.
• Travel nursing experience is required.
