Job Description

The RN provides age-specific, direct patient care while utilizing the Nursing Process. This role operates within the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN will assume leadership responsibilities, including delegating work to other levels of employees. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care based on the Nursing Process.
• Maintain nursing care standards and specialized care guidelines.
• Lead and delegate tasks to team members effectively.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required prior to the contract start date; a booked course must be arranged at the time of Clinical Orientation if not already obtained.
• De-escalation training is also required.

Schedule

This position requires a nights and varied schedule.
