Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30 or 09:00 - 19:30)

Call requirements: 4-5 call shifts per 6-week schedule period with a 30-minute call-back time; weekday call from 19:30-07:00 and weekend call from 07:00-07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician with direct intra-operative circulating and scrub experience, preferably in Orthopedic (Joints, Spine, Sports Injury) and/or General Surgery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with surgical procedures, ensuring sterile environments, and providing patient care during surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile field.
• Circulate and scrub for orthopedic and general surgical cases.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Handle instruments and supplies during surgery efficiently.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines for infection control and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technician experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Must possess NBSTSA certification; NCCT will not be accepted.
