Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts; Day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

The MedSurg/Tele Float Pool RN will provide nursing care to patients in various units including 6N, 7N, and additional MedSurg units. The role involves caring for patients with a variety of diagnoses including CHF, pneumonia, and chronic renal disease. Responsibilities will include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as per the physician's orders.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in telemetry and ability to read and interpret cardiac strips.
• Must be able to pass a cardiac rhythm exam.
