Schedule / Shift

12-hour rotating shifts from 3 PM to 3 AM and 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide critical care to patients in acute medical situations. Your ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and timely.
  • Assisting with procedures and coordinating patient flow in the ED.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AVADE or another nationally recognized de-escalation certification (e.g., Pro-Act, CPI, MOAB).
  • Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
  • Travel experience is necessary, and prior applicants must apply for VT upon acceptance.
