Operating Room Nurse - Night 3x12-Hour Shift

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse with the ability to both circulate and scrub in various surgical procedures. This position requires a strong background in acute care operating room environments and a versatile skill set in multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

Circulate and scrub in surgeries across all OR specialties except Open Heart.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
Prepare the operating room by ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Assist in the implementation of perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of current acute care operating room experience.
Experience in robotic and ENT surgeries, as well as orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro procedures is required.
BLS certification is required.
Active New Jersey or Compact RN license is required at time of submission.
Preferred experience in Level II Trauma Center.
