Registered Nurse - Float HICU/BHU/LTC Vent Unit

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will float between the HICU, BHU, and Burk 2 units, providing care for a wide variety of complex medical patients. The HICU is a 40-bed unit requiring close monitoring and frequent interventions for similarly stable yet critically ill patients. The BHU (Brain Health Unit) focuses on patients with medical and neurological disorders, while Burk 2 is dedicated to those needing long-term care with chronic respiratory issues requiring ventilator support.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple units.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Utilize specialty equipment and devices for patient care.
Implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms and develop patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required.
ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Previous charge experience preferred.
Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
