Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses for our Medical Surgical / Stroke unit. This unit is a general medical surgical floor with a specialty in stroke and neuro care. Ideal candidates will be upbeat and engaged, ready to provide quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for a maximum of 43 patients, maintaining a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize remote tele health and EMR Meditech for patient monitoring and documentation.
Conduct assessments and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Participate in stroke and neuro protocols as designated in the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Experience in a medical surgical or stroke unit is highly desirable.
