Days 12 shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with weekends every other week.

Job Description

This is a float nurse position focused on supporting the Emergency Department Holds. The candidate must have Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience to manage Step Down and Acute Care holds. Emergency Department experience is a plus but is not mandatory. Inpatient experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department Holds.
• Monitoring and assessing patient conditions and needs.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NJ nursing license or compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only).
• PCU experience required; inpatient experience necessary.
