Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend and holiday requirement. Potential for float to Gilbertsville and Pocono Creek.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical unit on an on-call basis as needed. The nurse will be involved in cross-training to support respiratory services, ensuring high-quality patient care and versatile support across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting.
• Participate in cross-training for respiratory services.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care in the EPIC system.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and protocols while floating as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Valid PA or Compact nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and either TNCC or ATCN.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
