This position requires a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 3 shifts a week with every other weekend and 3 out of 6 holidays required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, identifying patient priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The RN develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments.

Responsibilities

• Initiates assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions and manages patient care.
• Documents care in accordance with standards of care and clinical priorities.
• Advocates for evidence-based practices and supports innovations in care delivery.
• Provides patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of experience in a related specialty; preferred three to five years.
• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS-AHA certification required; NRP certification required.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, Advanced AWHONN or EFM.
