Description

MRI Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology and should possess certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or be willing to obtain this after starting. You will need to work full-time for the first 2 weeks for orientation, with a shift scheduled for weekends thereafter.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
Perform patient care tasks as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Two (2) years of experience in MRI technology
BLS certification from the American Heart Association only
Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners is a must
Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization preferred

Schedule

Full-time hours for the first 2 weeks, followed by weekend shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM starting September 6-7. Flexibility to work daytime and evening shifts for orientation may be required.
