Job Description

The Medical/Surgical Unit is looking for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will provide care for patients with various diagnoses including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, altered mental status, gastrointestinal bleeding, alcohol withdrawal, and patients with falls or weakness. The nurse will work under a charge nurse and will have the opportunity to mentor Patient Care Technicians.

Responsibilities

Patient assessment and monitoring
Titration of medications and drips as needed
Supervision of Patient Care Technicians
Collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Education and support for patients and their families

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must have at least 1 year of nursing experience
Current RN License
BLS certification
Experience with titrating medications, including heparin, bumex, and lasix
