Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist is responsible for assisting in the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the procedural area. This position focuses on various interventional radiological procedures and requires a strong understanding of critical care and procedural settings.

Responsibilities

Assist in performing interventional procedures such as biopsies, angiograms, and line placements.
Monitor patients during procedures and provide moderate sedation as needed.
Collaborate with a team of RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Utilize equipment effectively, including the Discovery 740 IGS and EMR Meditech systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Critical Care Experience
Experience in a procedural area.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Moderate Sedation experience preferred.
PALS and Meditech experience are ideal.
