This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers age-specific, direct patient care. The RN provides nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process and operates within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN assumes leadership responsibilities, which include the delegation of work to other levels of employees. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of healthcare is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care based on age-specific needs.
Utilize the Nursing Process in providing care.
Lead and delegate tasks to other healthcare employees.
Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required prior to contract start date.
De-escalation training must also be completed before beginning the assignment.
