Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) and Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) rotations with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MS/Tele RN with a valid New York license to provide high-quality patient care in a MedSurg telemetry unit. The RN will manage a patient load of 1:5 to 1:7 and will mainly care for patients with heart failure, acute myocardial infarction, post-device care, and arrhythmias. The role involves cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and specialized procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients with heart conditions.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage any arising issues.
• Administer IV therapy and manage peripheral line care.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams for emergency situations.
• Provide respiratory support including oxygen therapy.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and PPE guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a MedSurg or telemetry setting.
• Valid New York RN license in hand (mandatory).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Charge experience is a plus.
