Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide essential care to patients of all ages in a busy healthcare environment. The successful candidate will work independently in a critical access hospital setting, and may be the sole respiratory therapist on shift, requiring strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in various clinical settings, including the emergency department.
Administer treatments and therapies to patients with respiratory disorders.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in West Virginia.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in emergency or critical care settings.
Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS.
Ability to work independently and manage diverse patient needs effectively.
