Job Description

The Cardiac Stepdown Unit (CSU) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to our patients. Offering an 18-bed unit, you will ensure the highest quality of care in monitoring and supporting patients recovering from cardiac surgeries and interventions.

Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
Administer medications including narcotics safely and responsibly.
Provide care for patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Perform typical procedures related to cardiac care, such as management of CABG, valve replacements, and cardiac drips.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
Must possess the skill to read cardiac monitors and administer narcotics.
Preferred candidates will have stepdown experience and cardiac knowledge.
