Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse (RN) providing age-specific, direct patient care. The RN will utilize the Nursing Process and adhere to the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care as well as Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. The RN will also assume leadership responsibilities, which include delegating work to other employees. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) certifications required prior to contract start date.
• De-escalation training required, with courses scheduled during Clinical Orientation if not already completed.

Nights / Varied shifts.
