7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating call week nights and weekends. Must be willing to be on call as needed.

Job Description

The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in the surgical team, collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients during surgical procedures. The RN functions in both the circulating and scrub roles within a fast-paced environment specializing in various surgical services.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Function as a circulator and scrub nurse as required.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with heavy orthopedic cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of recent Operating Room experience - REQUIRED
• Strong circulator/scrub experience in Endoscopy - REQUIRED
• Cerner experience - HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Active Vermont or Compact license - REQUIRED
• Active American Health Association BLS certification - REQUIRED
• Active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) - HIGHLY PREFERRED
