This position is located in the region's largest and most comprehensive Emergency Department.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, with a guaranteed 36 weekly hours. Candidates are required to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.

Job Description

Join a high-paced, high acuity Emergency Department with 20 beds, where you will provide exemplary care to a diverse patient population. You will be working alongside a supportive team while leveraging your skills in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatment as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an Emergency Department.
• Current RN licensure required.
• Experience with peripheral IV, stroke management, SEPSIS, and STEMI is preferred.
