Schedule

12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. The shift hours are from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a total of 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiopulmonary diagnoses including congestive heart failure (CHF), chest pain, and post-cardiac catheterization. The nurse will monitor vital signs, titrate critical drips, and work collaboratively with charge nurses and other staff in a telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs of patients.
• Titrate and manage critical drips such as Nitro, Amiodarone, and Heparin.
• Deliver care in a fast-paced environment, adapting to patient needs.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with critical drips and chemotherapy administration preferred.
• Travel experience is necessary.
