Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work across multiple units including HICU, BHU, and Burk 2, providing care for patients who require close monitoring and interventions. Responsibilities will include managing patients in an ICU step-down setting, providing rehabilitation support, and assisting long-term care residents who are primarily on ventilator support. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to various patient needs and care plans.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
Float between HICU, BHU, and Burk 2 units as needed.
Administer medications and manage ventilator support for patients in long-term care.
Perform clinical interventions and assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Engage patients in rehabilitation activities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Experience in HICU or related facilities preferred.
Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
