Job Description

As an On-Call STEMI RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through thorough assessment, effective clinical skills, and accurate documentation. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient satisfaction and safety while adhering to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across all stages of growth and development.
• Consistently demonstrate competent clinical skills and provide direct patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in accordance with guidelines.
• Exhibit professionalism and identify areas for clinical and professional growth.
• Respond to patients, families, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals and demonstrate safe transfer techniques.
• Individualize patient care based on specific diagnoses and procedures.
• Contribute to the perioperative team by prioritizing patient care needs.
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders for appropriateness.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of critical care experience - required
• RN License - Required
• BLS Certification - Required
• ACLS Certification - Required
